Vassilios G. Kartaltzis
Vassilios Kartaltzis was a student of the German School of Athens and he graduated from the German School of Thessaloniki. He has obtained an LL.B. in Law from the Faculty of Law of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
Moreover, he has obtained an LL.M. in Civil, Civil Procedure and Labor Law of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and has drafted his dissertation. Afterwards, he has become a PhD candidate in Labor Law at the Law School of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Following the establishment of his law office, Vassilis Kartaltzis has developed, throughout the years of serving the law, major co-operations regarding all the sectors of the law and in most areas of the Greek territory. He has published a significant number of studies in law magazines (see also the relevant section), whereas he has also participated and written together with other well-known and significant lawyers specialized in labor law the book “LABOR LAW – INDIVIDUAL – COLLECTIVE – EUROPEAN”. The book has been released in December 2005.
Vassilis Kartaltzis constantly participates in conferences and seminars concerning Labor Law as a rapporteur. He provides executive officers of companies with recommendations, whereas he has also co-operated with the university foundation named ACT as a rapporteur in relation to his capacity as a lawyer specialized in Labor Law.
He is a native speaker of German language and a fluent speaker of English language.
Vassilis Kartaltzis has won significant cases in different areas of the law, such as civil law, commercial law and labor law (both individual and collective), whereas he has taken part in the drafting of a vast number of collective labor agreements. His clientele consists of private individuals, by also well-known companies, multinational enterprises and legal entities governed by public law.
He has served as a counsel of the Board of Directors of Thessaloniki Bar Association. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the “Association of German-speaker jurists in Northern Greece”. Furthermore, he is a well-respected member of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He is also a member of the German Bar Association (DAV Griechenland), the Synergy Association and the Association of Friends of the German School of Thessaloniki.
